The JoBOXERS appeared on the music scene in 1982 as a live band of musicians at a time when British music was mostly production-driven. A natural club sound, based on grooving bass (Chris Bostock), cutting guitar (Robert Marche), strident piano (Dave Collard), rock-steady drums (Sean McLusky), and driven by the no-nonsense singing of group wordsmith Dig Wayne. |
